Real Madrid versus Barcelona rarely disappoints, and it certainly didn't on Sunday night.
After a Pique own goal gave Real Madrid the lead, Lionel Messi equalised with a very questionable penalty after Luis Suarez was brought down.
However, then Cristiano Ronaldo entered the fray and proceeded to have one of the maddest 10 minutes in football.
First of all the Portuguese legend scored a lovely curling effort to give Madrid a 2-1 lead, but then he was given a yellow card for diving.
But, Ronaldo was far from done.
The former Manchester United man, 32, would push the referee after receiving a red card and is bound to suffer retrospective action for it.
Marcos Asensio would give the 10 men of Real a 3-1 win in the end, but watch below the madness that ensued thanks to Ronaldo:
Without Neymar, Barcelona just doesn't seem to be the same team and Madrid seemed a step ahead.
Will Barca make the signings that they need to in order to challenge on all fronts? They have the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup yet to try and redeem themselves.
