For a game that has no real bearing on the season, the Super Cup between Barcelona and Real Madrid couldn't have provided more controversy.Cristiano Ronaldo has received a five-game ban and a fine of €3,000 for pushing the referee after his red card. The 32-year-old earned two bookings within a matter of minutes, firstly for taking his shirt off celebrating a screamer of a goal, and secondly for an alleged dive in the penalty area. And CR7 was far from the only player drawing attention to himself for the wrong reasons.Keylor Navas may have his faults, but he almost certainly made no contact with Luis Suarez when the Blaugrana striker went down theatrically in the box and won a spot-kick.It's easy to see why Real fans, and indeed Zinedine Zidane, were so angry despite winning the game 3-1, especially in light of the officials' other decisions on the night.Sergio Ramos epitomised that anger with his reaction to Suarez.

Ramos vs Suarez

With the Uruguayan writhing around on the floor, the Los Blancos centre-back went over ostensibly to help him up, instead manhandling him and throwing him back down to the ground. Check out the incident below:

That wasn't the only spat between the pair either. Marca have picked up on another two moments of madness from Suarez which went unnoticed at the time.

Suarez's two sneaky kicks

Ramos got the better of the former Liverpool star on the edge of the box - and he appeared to respond with a kick:

Then, he did it again. In the centre of the pitch, as the defender shouldered him off the ball, he left a foot trailing after the Spanish international which could have left him with a nasty mark.

This is exactly the problem with the 30-year-old, as his dark side so often threatens to detract from his talent. Perhaps this wasn't on the level of biting anybody, but it's still remarkable that he got away with it if it was intentional.

Most neutrals would have a hard time choosing between Suarez and Ramos, largely thanks to antics like these. It certainly made the tie interesting nonetheless, even if much of the post-match talk has centred on Ronaldo.
