Conor McGregor has a psychic like knack of predicting exact times, round numbers, and the method of victory in his fights.

The Irishman has earned the nickname ‘Mystic Mac’ after backing up his bold predictions time and time again, and has recently promised fans he’d finish Floyd Mayweather in the second round, if not sooner.

Below are a list of five times where "Mystic Mac" has got it spot on, which could mean Mayweather is in for a night to forget come August 26.

Jose Aldo, UFC 194 – December 2015

Jose Aldo had been undefeated for 10 years in his time at UFC.

Yet, McGregor publicly came out and said how he would knock him out in round one. He thought Aldo was to emotional in his movements and he would catch him off guard.

Well, sure enough, McGregor lived up to his word, and as Aldo went for a big swing, Notorious swayed and connected with a big left hook to leave Aldo unconscious just 13 seconds into the fight.

Chad Mendes, UFC 189 – July 2015

This was McGregor's chance to fight for the interim featherweight title.

He placed a £2.3 million bet with UFC president Dana White that he would defeat Mendes inside two rounds.

The Irishman once again delivered on his promise, by leaving Mendes out cold with 20 seconds to go in round two.

Dustin Poirier, UFC 178 – September 2014

He told media Poirier’s chin was deteriorating and that he’d noticed the American would fall onto one knee in every fight he gets in.

He said: "I’m going to crack him with a jab, he’s going to wobble and I’m going to put him away early."

He then said: "It's going to be a first round KO mark my words."

In the fight, things went exactly as planned for McGregor as he hit Poirier with a jab just 90 seconds into the fight. He then wobbled and went down on one knee and the victory was McGregor's.

Diego Brandao, UFC Fight Night 46 – July 2014

This fight was very special for McGregor as it was in his home city of Dublin.

McGregor said of Brandao: "People say he starts well and fades, I don’t think he’s even going to start well.

"I’m going to be straight at him off the gate and he’ll feel pressure like he’s never felt before."

He went on to say he’d KO him in the first round. As usual, his prediction came true and the fight was stopped at 4:05 in the first round.

Eddie Alvarez, UFC 205 – December 2016

McGregor thought that Alvarez was ‘too slow’ and that he’d be lucky to make it out of the first round.

McGregor was sure it would be a first round KO, but said if Alvarez was lucky enough to escape round one, it wouldn’t go past the second.

Sure enough, McGregor had Alvarez on the canvas twice in the first round. Yet, Alvarez narrowly managed to get into round two, only to be KO'd three minutes into the round by a flurry of devastating punches.

These five incidents show that Mayweather should be worried as "Mystic Mac" has a very good record in calling how his fights are going to turn out.

All eyes will be on Las Vegas come August 26, and maybe, just maybe, Mystic Mac can striker again.
