Roman Reigns may not be the WWE Universal Champion just yet, but he is already the leader of the WWE locker room.

Reigns has been with the WWE since 2010 when he was a part of developmental territories such as Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) and NXT. He was finally called up to the main roster as a member of The Shield (Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose) who instantly solidified themselves as one of the most dominant factions in WWE history. After being betrayed by Seth Rollins The Shield later broke up and the three men embarked on separate singles careers.

"The Big Dog" has had an extremely successful career thus far as he has reigned as WWE World Heavyweight Champion three times, the United States Champion once, a one time Tag Team Champion with Seth Rollins, and the 2015 Royal Rumble winner.

Reigns was also just one of two men to defeat The Undertaker in WrestleMania competition (Lesnar being the first at WrestleMania 30) and seemingly retired "The Deadman" with his victory.

He is currently scheduled to participate in an epic Fatal Four-Way match this weekend at SummerSlam on pay-per-view (PPV) for the Universal Champion between current champ Brock Lesnar, Reigns, Braun Strowman, and Samoa Joe. Reigns recently spoke to Jimmy Traina on the ‘Off The Board’ podcast to discuss his professional wrestling career.

Reigns was asked specifically about a rumored incident that occurred in which he needed to kick Enzo Amore off a tour bus and the rumored heat Amore has backstage. Here's what he had to say (quotes via IWNerd):

“I swing the sword, if I put the sentence down then I lay it down. If you have heat, that is what a locker room leader does, he speaks up for the rest of the bunch. It is tough when you too some many cooks in the kitchen and I am not the only guy that would speak up.

"But as the man that I am before I was in this business, I would have spoken up if something was wrong. To what I am today, within our industry I am a locker room leader”
