Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios paid tribute to the victims of the terror attacks in Barcelona after a dominant win over Spain's Rafael Nadal. The Australian produced some great tennis on the way to a 6-2, 7-5 victory against the new world No.1.As a tribute to the victims, Nadal wore a black ribbon on his jacket, whilst Kyrgios signed a camera filming the match with 'Barcelona' and a love heart post-match.Nadal commented on the situation in the post match interview, saying: "Of course everybody is destroyed in Spain, including me."It's a tragedy, the feeling that you are not safe so that's terrible. So just very sad. I'm very, very sorry about what happened to all the victims, all the families, friends. This is the moment to be together like a country and all being together, we go through these kind of things."Nadal was cautious to speak in detail about his performance against Kyrgios, simply saying: "No excuses, nothing at all I didn't play well."The first set only lasted a mere 25 minutes, with Kyrgios getting off to a flyer after breaking Nadal in the very first game of the match. He then later broke again in the set to win 6-2.Nadal saved match points in the ninth and 10th games of the second set and broke Kyrgios to get back to 5-5.You can see Kyrgios signing the camera lens in the video below.

However, three uncharacteristic forehand errors gifted Kyrgios his fourth break of the encounter and he served out the match with his 10th ace.

"He obviously is a tough match always, I played some good points.

"He had some mistakes and I was able to be back in the match, and then I played a terrible game. So it was a bad match for me. Congrats to him. That's it."

These were Nadal's final words after a disappointing end to the tournament, after the week started so brightly for him having being crowned world No.1 again.
