There’s no doubt about it, Braun Strowman is a monster among most men.

Strowman has risen up the ranks in WWE in a short amount of time after making his main roster debut just a few short years ago as part of The Wyatt Family. He has learned as he goes to be a top Superstar.

It’s well known that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is a fan of big men. Just look at who he has pushed in the past. Superstars like Hulk Hogan, Andre The Giant, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, The Undertaker, Kane, The Big Show, and the list goes on and on.

Strowman is finally in the WWE Universal Title picture. WWE booked him in a Universal Title Fatal 4-Way match against Brock Lesnar, Samoa Joe, and Roman Reigns at Sunday’s SummerSlam pay-per-view event at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Lesnar ended up winning the match and retaining the title.

As seen on this past week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE started a program between Strowman and Lesnar in the opening segment that saw Strowman hit two power slams, which is his finisher, to Lesnar.

WWE then announced that Strowman would challenge Lesnar for the Universal Title at the upcoming No Mercy PPV (pay-per-view) event in Los Angeles, CA at the Staples Center on Sunday, September 24th. The event will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. This will be an exclusive RAW brand event. This match will serve as the main event.

Strowman and Sasha Banks recently did an interview with the ‘New York Stock Exchange’ to promote SummerSlam weekend. They talked about various topics. During the interview, Strowman was asked was how he trains for matches. He mentioned that he consumes 15,000 calories a day in order to fuel his 6 foot 8, 385-pound frame. Here is what he had to say:

“When I’m not flipping ambulances I’m in the gym stacking plates and banging weights. I eat 15,000 calories a day just to be able to feed the monster. It takes a lot to run almost a 400-pound frame. As far as training goes, sometimes I just go out into the woods, and I beat trees down with my bare hands.”
