Beach balls are apparently a thing for the WWE Universe.

Beach balls were one of the biggest topics of conversation that has started online following this week’s WWE events in Brooklyn, New York. The crowd was more focused on the beach balls flying around than the matches.

As see at SummerSlam during the Raw Tag Team Title match that saw Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins defeat Cesaro and Sheamus to win the titles, Cesaro ran into the crowd and destroyed a beach ball that fans were tossing in the crowd. That spot resulted in the former Raw Tag Team Champions post tweets about destroying the toy, with the tweets being retweeted over 4000 times between the two of them.

Moving along to Monday Night Raw, John Cena actually pointed to fans in the audience with a beach ball instead of cutting away during his tag team match that saw him team up with Roman Reigns to defeat Samoa Joe and The Miz. This was a mistake on his part. WWE actually showed people playing with it in the stands. Cena then expressed his disappointment when security confiscated the ball.

Cena addressed the crowd and encouraged their behavior, telling the crowd, "I'd like to commend you on some brilliant play with a beach ball!"

"There's a few security guards out there that I'm not too fond of," Cena continued. "The reason I want to address those things, for real, is because I love when an audience has fun. And tonight, you guys, no matter what, you wanted to bring out a beach ball, call a security guard an A-hole, rock this place with the wave, and let everyone know Monday Night RAW was coming from the BK!"

WWE reportedly banned "beach balls, pool noodles or any other inflatable items that could be bounced around" at Tuesday’s SmackDown Live TV event, according to PWInsider. Despite the ban, fans were still able to sneak a few in. However, they were reportedly quickly confiscated by security and removed from the arena.

With all of that said, this leads us to The Miz. The former WWE Champion grabbed a microphone during one of the commercial breaks in the main event of this past Monday’s Raw addressed the crowd. Here is what he said:
