The worlds of Smackdown Live and Monday night RAW are vastly different with different titles and a different type of show all round.

Several superstars have made the switch from one brand to another and one who was involved in the post WrestleMania superstar switch up was Kevin Owens.

Aiming to go back

The former Universal Champion was a big acquisition for Smackdown as he brought with him the United States Championship.

Owens lost the Universal Championship at Fastlane back in February following a very interesting reign as the top superstar on Monday nights.

Goldberg took the title off of Owens back in February and due to the distraction by Chris Jericho, Owens entered into a WrestleMania program with his former best friend.

Goldberg went on to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania meaning that Owens would not receive his mandatory title rematch.

That is something that he has not forgotten.

It has been a year since one of RAW's most shocking endings saw Triple H betray Seth Rollins and hand the title to Owens and on the anniversary of the biggest win in his career, Owens took the time to send a message to the superstars of RAW.

Claiming that he hasn't forgotten about title rematch, Owens gave the fans a reminder that he is owed a Universal Championship match.

With Owens currently on Smackdown, his title rematch won't be coming anytime soon, however there are still rumours that another superstar shake up could be happening soon.

If Owens was to be moved back to RAW, he could easily be reinserted back into the Universal Championship picture, but the current state of the Championship may make that seem somewhat impossible.

Future champion?

With Brock Lesnar as the current Universal Champion and Braun Strowman as his challenger, the current title picture doesn't really seem fitting for Owens.

However while he resides on Smackdown, the title picture on RAW could be very different should he be traded in the next few months.
