Stockport boss Gary Ablett will be without defender Johnny Mullins through suspension for the visit of Charlton.
Mullins picked up his fifth yellow card of the season during last Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Wycombe and will now serve an automatic one-match ban.
On-loan Chelsea midfielder Liam Bridcutt limped out of the action towards the end of the game at Adams Park after picking up a knock.
However, he will be fit to face the Addicks after returning to training to give County a boost as they bid to end a dismal run of seven successive league defeats.
Ablett has no new injury worries but striker Oli Johnson (knee) and midfielder Matty Mainwaring (broken leg) remain sidelined.
Stockport are confident the match will go ahead following the recent spate of postponements at Edgeley Park because of a waterlogged pitch.
Charlton could be without Frazer Richardson, Kelly Youga and Izale McLeod.
Richardson suffered a recurrence of his hamstring problem during last weekend's win over Southend and fellow defender Youga is struggling with a knee injury.
Striker McLeod has also picked up a knock to the knee and is another doubt.
But midfielder Jose Semedo returns from a one-match ban and forward Leon McKenzie is available after overcoming his knee injury.
McKenzie is likely to be on the bench with two from Deon Burton, David Mooney and Akpo Sodje set to start in attack.
Sodje is fully fit after a hamstring injury and has this week extended his loan spell from Sheffield Wednesday by a second month.
