It has been almost a week since the fight of the century took place in the T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas.UFC champion Conor McGregor made his debut in the boxing ring against Floyd Mayweather who was desperately seeking to boost his record to 50-0.In the end, the American done it with relative ease, enduring a three-round onslaught from the Irishman and then crushing him with his slick, scientific style, stopping him in the tenth round.

Ever since the fight, reaction has flooded in from across the globe, with people from all sports and celebrities giving their verdict on a fight which was defined by the media circus which surrounded it.

The two fighters - who were engaged in some brutal press conferences - predictably showed a much friendlier side after the bout.

McGregor avoided social media for a little while after the fight but in recent days, he has delivered a few updates and his latest one is pure Twitter gold.

In his own slightly manic style, the Irishman took it upon himself to deliver a perfect description of his famous fight, one that when you read it back, is pretty much the truth.

MCGREGOR'S TWEET

You can't really describe it much better than that can you.

With Mayweather now officially retiring from the sport, a lot of the focus is now on what path McGregor will choose to follow.

He has received a two-month ban from UFC due to medical reasons, but it is widely thought that he will return to the Octagon in 2018.

As for boxing, well, he showed that he is capable of withstanding 10 rounds against one of the greatest and it would be interesting to see how he would cope against lower level opposition.

The fight the crowds want to see is one between McGregor and Paulie Malignaggi, with the two forging a deadly rivalry over the last few months.
