Hulk Hogan on possible in-ring return for WWE

AFL Rd 5 - Carlton v Collingwood

Hulk Hogan is, arguably, the greatest WWE Superstar of all time - and he could very well be on his way to an in-ring return for the company soon.

"The Hulkster" has been competing in professional wrestling since 1977 and quickly rose up to mega-stardom in the WWE, serving as the promotion's top face. He later left the WWE in favor of signing with WWE's greatest rival of all time, World Championship Wrestling (WCW). Hogan soon turned heel and joined the New World Order (NWO). His accolades include six WWE Championship wins, one Tag Team Title win with Edge, back-to-back Royal Rumble wins (1990 and 1991), and induction in to the WWE Hall Of Fame as part of its 2005 class.

Due to the fact that he was recorded saying some rather violent racial slurs, Hogan has since been out of the WWE picture for quite some time. The company has slowly been easing him back into the WWE Universe via the WWE Network, and his return to the company could be coming soon.

The capacity of Hogan's return is still unknown, however, but it could quite possibly come in the form of an in-ring return according to Hogan himself. Hogan recently hosted a Q&A session for fans, and talked about a possible return to in-ring action. Here's what the WWE Hall Of Famer had to say (quotes via

“Now I got a question for you. From this point forward, with Hulk Hogan being in the prime of his career, with Hulk Hogan being the greatest beach bum ever with the greatest beach shop, what do you fans want to see me do with wrestling?

"Do you want me to stay out of it? Do you want me to get back in it? Do you want me to tear the business apart? I want to hear from you guys. I want to get your replies. What do the fans want Hulk Hogan to do about wrestling from this point forward.”

What are your thoughts on Hogan possibly returning to a wrestling role for WWE in the near future? Would you be up to see it? Or are Hogan's best days inside the ring behind him? Have YOUR say in the comments section below, and the fourth episode of GiveMeSport’s WWE podcast is here!
