Anthony Joshua, undefeated and undisputed as heavyweight champion, has become the pinnacle of British boxing in recent years.

Going from strength to strength since his Olympic Gold medal, he is set to return once again.

Kubrat Pulev, the Bulgarian boxer, has decided to step into the ring with the global number one on October 28, in Cardiff.

Upon the announcement, it appears the trash talk has well and truly began as Pulev claims that Anthony Joshua has “no chance” of beating him for the IBF World Title.

The Bulgarian believes that he will be the man who will put an end to the 19-0 undefeated stance of AJ.

“My preparations go very intensely because of the short time I have, and I will be perfectly ready when I get into the ring so that he has no chance against me”, wrote Pulev.

Pulev has only lost one fight out of his 26 bouts in the sport, and although he's complimentary of AJ, he knows he can defeat him.

“Anthony Joshua is a great and dangerous rival, but his style fits perfectly with mine.

“In boxing, the boxer’s style dictates the match and there’ll not be many hugs, there will be heavy boxing.”

Brave words from the Bulgarian ahead of the bout.

Pulev succumbed to his only defeat against Wladimir Klitschko in 2014, but can he do it in Cardiff against UK and boxing golden boy AJ?

Anthony Joshua has already proven to come out on top against the Ukrainian force that is known as Klitschko, whereas Pulev fell short. With this at mind, could he really beat Joshua?

With the next few months to play in their favour, the training and commitment in this time will prove vital. We all know how Joshua likes to prepare, but what about Pulev?

I guess we’ll have to wait until October 28 to find out whether his confident words become reality on the night.
