Since joining Chelsea at the start of last season, Michy Batshuayi has become one of the funniest players to follow on social media.

These days, some players let other people control their Twitter and Instagram accounts for them but Batshuayi is one of the few who like to keep complete control over what they post.

And in the 12 months the Belgian international has been on English soil, he has regularly used social media to poke fun at himself and his Chelsea teammates.

One of his closest friends at Stamford Bridge appears to be Eden Hazard, who he already knew from their time in the Belgium squad together, as the pair are constantly seen teasing and mocking each other.

And Hazard has tried to aim another job at his neighbour Batshuayi in a feature for Chelsea's website on Tuesday afternoon.

When asked what would be the one thing he would change about the striker if he could, Hazard responded: "I just want Michy to change his hair."

Attacking a teammate's hairstyle is always a risky ploy and being the Twitter king Batshuayi is, the 23-year-old did not waste much time to fire back a funny response.

He tweeted: "😂😂😂 .... says @hazardeden10 who has the same hair for 57 years in a row now 🙄😂 #dosomethingbro #shortquiff #lowfade #helptheman"

Anyone else think Hazard might have hit a nerve?

Batshuayi did later acknowledge that his teammate could have a point, though, when a Chelsea fan account posted three photos of him (and one of Nathaniel Chalobah) with virtually identical hairstyles.

Wonder if that is enough evidence to persuade Batshuayi into booking an emergency appointment at the barbers.

Elsewhere in the interview, Hazard did praise how much progress his teammate has made at learning English but doesn't compare to Thibaut Courtois' multilingual capabilities.

He added: "To be fair, Michy’s English is much better than before, he is improving a lot. Thibaut, the way he is talking all of the languages – English, French, Spanish, German - is unbelievable."
