The WWE Universe has shown one talent some mad respect.

That Superstar is The Big Show, who has truly been a staple of the sports entertainment company since he decided to join them in 1999 after getting his big break while under the WCW (World Championship Wrestling) banner.

After being with the company for nearly 20-years, the veteran has racked up some major accomplishments during his career which will no doubt earn him a spot in the sports entertainment company’s Hall of Fame. He has won the WWE Title twice, WWE's World Heavyweight Championship twice and the ECW World Championship once.

Show has also found success in the tag team division, having been an 11-time world tag team champion, holding World, WWE and WCW World Tag Team Championships multiple times with various tag team partners. Having also been Intercontinental, United States, and Hardcore Champion during his career.

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Omaha, NE at the CenturyLink Center, Braun Strowman defeated The Big Show in a Steel Cage match in the main event. After the match, Strowman power slammed Show through the cage, which part of it broke to close the show. The reason for this spot was to write Show off of television due to him undergoing hip surgery soon. As of this writing, there’s still no word yet on how long the former WWE Champion will be out of action but his time in WWE as a full-time performer is limited. His WWE contract expires in 2018, and he is looking at getting into acting.

WWE has shared bonus footage from after Raw of The Big Show being helped to the back by the referees. As seen in the video below, the fans showed respect to him by chanting “you still got it.” The former WWE Champion seemed touched by the reaction and waved at the crowd as he made his way to the stage area.

Strowman is scheduled to challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Title at the upcoming No Mercy PPV (pay-per-view) in Los Angeles, CA at the Staples Center on Sunday, September 24th and will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. This will be an exclusive RAW brand event.
