Dean Austin and Frank Lampard senior have left Reading in the wake of manager Brendan Rodgers' departure, the club have confirmed.

First-team coach Austin and football consultant Lampard have followed Rodgers out of the Madejski Stadium as the club looks to makes wholesale changes in an attempt to reverse their ailing form.

The Royals' dismal run of results on home soil - where they have won just one of 11 games - has seen them struggle at the wrong end of the table.
