Bury boss Alan Knill will hand a starting role to striker Ryan Lowe in the home clash against Macclesfield.

Blackpool have recalled Daniel Nardiello from his loan spell with the Shakers because of injuries to Ben Burgess and Billy Clarke.

Nardiello scored four goals in six starts for the Knill`s men alongside Andy Morrell, who will link-up with Lowe as Andy Bishop and Danny Carlton remain sidelined.

Defender Ryan Cresswell and midfielder Damien Allen are also set to miss out again and Knill admits the loss of Nardiello is a severe blow.

The Shakers manager, whose side are aiming to bounce back from last weekend`s defeat at Dagenham, said: "It leaves us bare now and we have a lot of games coming up."

Macclesfield boss Keith Alexander will welcome defender Shaun Brisley back into his squad after suspension for the short trip.

Brisley missed last weekend`s 3-1 home win over Hereford after his red card in the defeat at Rochdale.

He will return to boost a Silkmen side still missing midfielder Hamza Bencherif.

The Algerian midfielder suffered a fractured ankle at Rochdale and Alexander has admitted he is unlikely to feature again before the end of the campaign.

Fellow midfielder Lee Bell (knee) is another long-term absentee while Alexander also has doubts over former Bury striker Matthew Tipton and fellow forward Ricky Sappleton.

Defender Sean Hessey returned after eight months out in last weekend`s win and Alexander said: "It was a risk but he was outstanding."
