Graham Dorrans will not be leaving West Brom in January, according to chairman Jeremy Peace.

Dorrans has been in impressive form this season, with Aston Villa, Birmingham, Everton, Stoke and Sunderland all linked with a move for the 22-year-old. But Peace has moved to quash speculation that the highly-rated midfielder will be moving elsewhere.

"We need a team capable of getting us out of the Championship," he told the Daily Star.

He added: "If we start selling our best players, we won't have that.

"You need players not only to get you out but who can improve you in a higher division. Most people would agree he fits into that category."
