Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Paul Smith has signed a two-year extension to his contract at the City Ground.

The 30-year-old, signed from Southampton in 2006, is now committed to the Championship club until the summer of 2012. Smith, currently being kept out of the side by Lee Camp, told the club's official website: "It shows what the club think of me in offering me a contract extension and I was really pleased to sign.

"I like the way the club is going at the moment, our performances and results show all the players are pushing each other to do better and that's no different with the goalkeepers."
