Dickinson is pushing for a start after impressing as a substitute in last weekend`s 2-1 defeat at Swindon, which left the Seagulls in the League One relegation zone.

Goalkeeper Michel Kuipers is fit again after a groin injury but Poyet is set to stick with Peter Brezovan between the posts.

Former Stockport midfielder Gary Dicker is suspended after picking up his fifth booking of the season last weekend.

Defender Colin Hawkins is the only injury absentee due to an ongoing heel problem as Poyet looks for a much-needed three points which could see his side leapfrog opponents Orient.

Orient manager Geraint Williams should have midfielder Charlie Daniels back in contention.

Daniels has a good chance of returning after overcoming a back injury.

The 23-year-old missed last weekend's 2-2 draw with Walsall, but could be reinstalled to the starting XI.

But Williams will be without Luke Summerfield, who has returned to parent club Plymouth after his loan deal expired.

Summerfield spent three months with Orient but has returned to Devon to try and stake his claim for a place in the team and Adam Chambers will be hoping to take his place in central midfield.

Orient have no injuries or suspensions to contend with ahead of the clash with their fellow strugglers.
