Nigel Pearson has urged Leicester to "live in the present" rather than on the back of previous successes.
The Foxes stormed to the League One title in April and have made an impressive start to their Championship campaign, currently sitting in the play-off places.
But Pearson says, as good as the past year has been, he is only concerned with what happens from now.
"It has been good, but you can't dwell on the past," he told the Leicester Mercury.
"I think it's important to reflect on the positives and where we need to improve. I'm not one for dwelling too much on what has happened, whether that is good or bad.
"You have to live in the present in football. People lose their jobs every week. You have to live in the present, but also look to the future as well."
