Sheffield United have agreed a deal to sign Plymouth defender Marcel Seip on loan until the end of the season.

Seip, who recently completed a loan spell at Blackpool, is expected to put pen to paper ahead of Sunday's FA Cup third-round tie against QPR.

The 27-year-old's deal, which should be rubber-stamped on January 1, will expire on May 2 but can be extended for the play-offs.
