Cristiano Ronaldo has only played in two La Liga matches this season and yet he’s already recorded a pretty woeful stat.Per Opta, the Portuguese star has attempted 18 shots in the league, the most for any player without scoring. His frustration from the midweek defeat to Real Betis - in which he attempted an incredible 12 shots - carried over into yesterday’s narrow win over Alaves. The 32-year-old hit the woodwork twice as Real Madrid bounced back from the surprise defeat to Betis with a 2-1 win.Highly-rated youngster Dani Ceballos scored twice as Zinedine Zidane’s team jumped to fourth in the table.Despite his star man drawing a blank, the Real boss isn’t concerned by Ronaldo’s form."When you do not score, you are frustrated. But Ronaldo is calm," Zidane said, per Goal.

"He wants to score and he had the chances to do so. In the end, we always know he will make a difference eventually."

Leo Messi fan makes Ronaldo 'highlights' video

Still, his performance hasn’t prevented a Lionel Messi fan from making a video highlighting his worst moments against Alaves.

Set to a backdrop of hilarious music, it features some terrible passes, a woeful dive and that failed bicycle kick attempt.

Check it out below.

It would surprise nobody if Ronaldo hit a hat-trick in Real’s trip to Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday, just to silence the critics.

Ceballos stepped up

Zinedine is fortunate to be blessed with an array of talent and so it was simply a matter of who would step up with Ronaldo not playing so well.

That player turned out to be Ceballos, the 21-year-old who snubbed a move to Barcelona in the summer.

Zidane promised the youngster more opportunities after he scored his first goals for Los Blancos.

"I am very happy for the player, as he is ready to play and did very well today getting both goals," the Frenchman added.

"I am happy for him because he is a boy who wants to learn and he will have more opportunities.

"More than just the goals, he has played a great game."

Ronaldo didn’t produce his best and Real still won. That’s certainly not a bad sign.
