Crystal Palace striker Stern John has extended his loan stay at Championship rivals Ipswich.

The veteran frontman's deal had ran out after Town's 3-0 victory over QPR on Bank Holiday Monday, but the Suffolk club have now confirmed he will stay at Portman Road until January 30.

The Trinidad and Tobago international has made four appearances for Roy Keane's side since his arrival in November and will go straight into the squad for the Tractor Boys FA Cup third round clash at Blackpool.
