There are less than two weeks until the Hell in a Cell PPV and whilst the match card was mostly complete ahead of Tuesday's episode of Smackdown Live, one final title match was set to be added.

Matches for the WWE, Smackdown tag team and women's titles had already been revealed for the event.

A new challenge

There was one title still in need of a match and that was officially announced on Tuesday's episode of Smackdown Live.

US Champion AJ Styles, Baron Corbin and Tye Dillinger have been involved in a bizarre feud over recent weeks.

All three have been feuding as Corbin blames Dillinger for stealing his chance to respond to Styles' US Open Challenge.

This all led to a match between Dillinger and Corbin on Tuesday night which would draw the US Champion to ringside for a front row view.

Corbin would emerge victorious after he threw Dillinger into the Champion and watched the referee count to 10.

Corbin would then challenge Styles to a match at Hell in a Cell with the title on the line - a match which wouldn't take long to be confirmed.

The two will now collide a week from Sunday and although it won't be inside the four walls of steel that the event is named after, it should still be a very dangerous match.

The wildcard for the match however could be Dillinger who has taken it upon himself to interject himself in the situation between Corbin and Styles in recent weeks.

There is still one episode of Smackdown Live before the Hell in a Cell event and it is entirely possible that Dillinger could find himself installed in the match or he could bring his involvement in the rivalry to an end.

A big night ahead

The main title match at Hell in a Cell will see WWE Champion Jinder Mahal defend his title against Shinsuke Nakamura for the second straight PPV.

The two collided at Summer Slam and Nakamura fell victim to the numbers game on that occasion and Hell in a Cell could prove to be more of the same.

While Mahal vs Nakamura is the biggest title match to take place at the event, the main event is without doubt the highly anticipated clash between Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon.

The two men will collide inside the Hell in a Cell structure in what has quickly become one of the more personal rivalries in WWE.
