Manchester United have been almost an entirely different side this term to the one that laboured at times during last season.

Jose Mourinho brought in Nemanja Matic, Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and he signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic to a new one-year deal.

It might only be four players, but the way United have been playing has almost totally changed.

The Red Devils sit joint-top of the Premier League next to neighbours Manchester City and both sides are currently unbeaten.

Jose Mourinho's men have also made a blistering start upon their return to the Champions League with two wins from their opening two group games and scoring seven goals in the process.

They recorded a 4-0 victory over CSKA Moscow in Russia on Wednesday with goals from Anthony Martial, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and a brace from Lukaku.

However, it was Martial, who had a big hand in the three other goals on the night, that stole the show.

Take a look at his highlights from the game in the clip below. He utterly destroyed CSKA:

After the game, Mourinho insisted that while all the conditions suited the young Frenchman, he did indeed play very well.

"I think the game also adapted to his qualities," Mourinho told BT Sport. "The way we played adapted to his qualities too, so he had lots of freedom and lots of support and quality around him too and I am happy.

"A goal is always important even on a penalty but his contribution was very good, a pity he couldn’t play for 90 minutes because I was ready let him play the whole game."

"We start so strong, I think we surprised them with our attitude and we killed the game, they didn’t look as good as they are because of us."

While wonderkid teammate Marcus Rashford, Real Madrid Marco Asensio, Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe, Tottenham's Dele Alli and Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus are commonly regarded as the most exciting youngsters in world football, Martial has every right to be regarded in the same bracket.

After all, the former Monaco man is still only 21-years-old.
