LeBron James has the perfect way to describe Dwyane Wade reunion on Cavaliers

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade have reunited under the flag of the Cleveland Cavaliers, something that’s felt like a long time coming since their split on the Miami Heat.

The duo captured two titles together while enjoying their time as the South Beach superteam, and now Wade and LeBron look to add to their list of accolades together. The Cavaliers look drastically different than in years past, but the franchise is all-in for what could be James’ final season in Cleveland.

James gets to take another crack at the Golden State Warriors, and this time he’ll be flanked by one of his closes confidants. Wade may not be the “Flash” of old, but he’s found nothing but success when playing alongside LeBron. Seeing if they can replicate that is going to be a fascinating story to watch.

LeBron sounds absolutely ecstatic about the chance to play with Wade again, using a great analogy to describe the feeling once Dwyane’s signing with the Cavaliers was official on Wednesday.

“This is like one of my best friends. It’s kind of like when you start school and you walk into the classroom and you’re not quite sure who your classmates are and when you walk in there and one of your best friends is in there, you’re like, ‘Oh, yeah, this is going to be fun. It’s going to be a good class.’ That’s the type of feeling I got,'” James said during training camp.

Wade sounds just as excited to open the next chapter in his career, saying there’s “no better place” to be than competing for titles next to his “brother” LeBron once again.

“There’s no better place to be right now to continue to play and compete at the highest level. Cleveland believes in my talents and what I can bring to a championship contender both as a player and leader. I look forward to reuniting and playing alongside my brother LeBron.

“We’ve already won two championships together and I hope we win a third,” Wade said in a statement he published on Twitter.

James knows the kind of competitor Wade is, and how important he can be in elevating a team. That’s one of the reason’s he’s looking forward to being partnered with, not pitted against, the three-time champion.

“I’m happy that we were able to keep him away from everybody else,” James said during training camp media availability.

Now, the basketball world gets to see if Round 2 is just as mesmerizing as their first run together in Miami.
