Kevin Owens might be on the move.

Owens has been a top player in the WWE since signing with the sports entertainment company, but he has done it as a heel on television. Now, Owens is up for turning into a babyface character if the opportunity arises.

For a background on this Superstar, you have to go back to his early career as he began his career in 2000 at the age of 16. He had a run in Ring of Honor (ROH) from 2007 - 2014 where he wrestled under his real name, Kevin Steen, where he held the ROH World Championship and ROH World Tag Team Championship.

He also wrestled on the independent circuit for 14 years, most notably in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), where he held the PWG World Championship a record three times, as well as the PWG World Tag Team Championship on three occasions.

Other promotions that he worked for include International Wrestling Syndicate (IWS), where he held three times the IWS World Heavyweight Championship, All American Wrestling (AAW), where he held the AAW Heavyweight Championship, and Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), where he held the CZW Iron Man Championship.

Owens signed with WWE in 2014 and was placed WWE's developmental branch NXT, where he was a one-time NXT Champion. He was called up to the main roster in May 2015. During his time thus far under the WWE banner, he has held the Universal Championship once (being the longest-reigning titleholder at 188 days), the Intercontinental Championship twice, and the United States Championship three times.

Bryan Alvarez talked about the upcoming Hell in a Cell match between Owens and SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon at the upcoming Hell in a Cell PPV next month during Thursday’s episode of Wrestling Observer Live. He indicated that Owens could possibly be headed back to the Raw brand.

Alvarez noted that WWE officials have several plans in mind for the upcoming match and that it would be interesting to see which one they go with. He noted that one of those outcomes would see Owens returning to the Raw brand. He added that Stephanie McMahon's involvement could possibly be a factor in this storyline.
