The saga involving Neymar and Edinson Cavani finally appears to be over almost two weeks after the two superstars clashed over who would take a penalty during Paris Saint-Germain’s 2-0 victory over Lyon.
The childish argument rumbled on until the pair played together again against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, ten days later.
During that match, all the focus was on Neymar and Cavani to see whether there would be any signs of tension between them. However, they disappointed anyone looking for a bit drama by both producing incredible performances, both scoring during the 3-0 victory against the Bavarians.
Of course, we won’t quite know whether their troubles are completely over until they’re given another penalty but it certainly seems to be.
That much could be seen by their actions on the pitch during the match.
After Cavani scored a screamer in the first-half, Neymar eventually went over to him - after congratulating Kylian Mbappe for his assist - and gave the Uruguayan a hug. Then, as they were jogging back to halfway line, there were seen giving each other a little handshake.
It was a small gesture but one that was picked up by millions of football fans.
And it was also noticed by club captain, Thiago Silva.
It was reportedly Silva that had to separate the pair from coming the blows over falling out against Lyon so he must have been delighted to see Neymar and Cavani putting their difference aside.
And he reacted by applauding them for their little gesture.

Neymar finally speaks about his relationship with Cavani
And after their brilliant victory against Bayern in the Champions League, Neymar finally spoke out about his falling out with Cavani, insisting that a lot of the reports in the media were unsubstantiated.
Speaking of the media, he said: "They invent a lot of stories.
"They talk too much. They speak about things that they have no clue about.
"They try to infiltrate the dressing room and end up claiming things that do not exist."
But who will take the next penalty?
"It's already decided. It stays in the dressing room,” Neymar revealed.
There is no longer trouble in paradise, it seems.
