It was yet another brilliant performance by Manchester United at Old Trafford as they recorded another 4-0 victory over struggling Crystal Palace.

The Red Devils were predicted to thump their London opponents and they did, conducting themselves in a very professional manner throughout.

Marouane Fellaini recorded an unexpected brace, while Juan Mata and Romelu Lukaku also found the back of the net.

The Belgian was not expected to start before the game but he did, while Anthony Martial dropped to the bench despite turning in a stunning performance in the 4-1 victory over CSKA Moscow in the Champions League.

However, Jose Mourinho did call on the French international late in the second half and to say he turned on the style when he came on is an understatement.

In fact, he had wowed the Old Trafford crowd within 10 seconds of stepping out on to the turf, effortlessly nutmegging Palace's Andros Townsend.

Beautiful, you almost feel sorry for poor old Townsend, who was left feeling pretty humiliated by the 21-year-old.

Martial has looked impressive whenever called upon this season, providing a lovely assist for Lukaku's goal.

The battle between him and Marcus Rashford for the starting berth out on the left is entertainment in itself.

Swansea City v Manchester United - Premier League

Both have been brilliant and Mourinho appears to have expertly rotated them in recent weeks.

United fans absolutely loved Martial's little cameo and reacted on Twitter in brilliant style.

They loved it and Martial is really highlighting the immense strength in depth Mourinho's side possess going into this season.

The only downside to the Palace game was the performance of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who was hauled off before the hour mark due to some sloppy play throughout the match.

Nevertheless, with the likes of Martial and the hungry Jesse Lingard waiting in reserve, United fans won't be worried if Mourinho opts to give the Armenian a little breather from first team duty.
