Charlotte Flair challenges Ronda Rousey in the midst of WrestleMania rumors

Ronda Rousey's career in the mixed martial arts (MMA) world may have already ended, but it seems as though her career in the world of professional wrestling could just be getting started.

Rousey was once viewed as the baddest woman on the planet, as she hoisted an undefeated fighting record of 12-0 before suffering her first loss to Holly Holm via second round knockout back in November of 2015. After taking a year off to recoup from the loss, "The Rowdy One" returned to the Octagon to challenge new UFC women's bantamweight queen Amanda Nunes. Unfortunately for Rousey, Nunes' striking and power was way too much for her to overcome, as she was knocked out in just 48 seconds into the first round.

After the loss Rousey has yet to make an official announcement on whether or not she will continue to fight, however, there have been some serious rumors going around as to if she'd begin a career as a professional wrestler.

Rumor has it that Rousey has been training for an in-ring career with former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Brian Kendrick, who owns a famous wrestling school that Rousey has been seen at before. Rousey also made a few appearances at the recent Mae Young Classic tournament to support her friend Shayna Baszler, who made it up all the way to the tournament's finals.

If Rousey does sign with WWE, the word backstage is that a singles match between Rousey and Charlotte Flair is what WWE officials would like to see at WrestleMania. Flair recently joined Busted Open with hosts Dave Lagreca, Bully Ray & Larry Dallas to discuss the rumors, and in regards to Rousey said "she knows where to find me!" (quotes via Wrestling Inc.):

"So many people care about her," she remarked. "I'm glad that she's bringing so much attention to the sport. But if you're asking me whether or not she'll be joining the WWE, or whether there will be a match between us, I can honestly say that I have no idea."
