QPR will be without striker Rowan Vine when they host Plymouth.

Vine last week underwent minor keyhole surgery to fix a stomach problem and is not likely to be back in action until the end of the month.

Patrick Agyemang and Jay Simpson should start in attack again with Heidar Helguson, back from his recent loan at Watford, on the bench.

Goalkeeper Carl Ikeme should also be among the substitutes after joining on loan from Wolves as cover for regular number one Radek Cerny.

Italian forward Alessandro Pellicori, who has started just one match all season, is back in training after a virus.

Midfielders Gareth Ainsworth (calf), Lee Cook, Martin Rowlands and Gavin Mahon (all knee) remain on the sidelines.

Plymouth midfielder Luke Summerfield is an injury doubt.

Summerfield has been in top form for Argyle since returning from a successful three-month loan spell at Leyton Orient and has played in the last three matches, but is currently struggling with a hamstring injury.

Summerfield and goalscoring winger Alan Judge (calf) were both substituted after passing late fitness tests and starting the goalless FA Cup draw with Newcastle. Judge has recovered and is fit to keep his place.

Midfielder Jim Patterson (hamstring) is still ruled out while fit-again striker Bradley Wright-Phillips is short of match practice, despite returning to training after recovering from a knee injury.

Argyle central defender Reda Johnson is on African Nations Cup duty with Benin. His replacement last weekend was former QPR defender Chris Barker.

Winger Yannick Bolasie is in contention having returned to Home Park after the end of his second loan spell at Barnet.
