Brock Lesnar has been the WWE Universal Champion since April of this year, but some WWE fans are already ready to see "The Beast" get the title taken off of him - and former Monday Night RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff is one of them.

Lesnar is a physical freak who made a name for himself by becoming one of the youngest WWE Champions in history by defeating The Rock, attempting a career in the National Football League (NFL), switching over to have an extremely successful career in mixed martial arts (MMA) by winning the UFC heavyweight championship, and finally returning to the WWE to hand The Undertaker his first ever loss in WrestleMania competition.

He is one of the most storied characters in the history of the professional wrestling industry, but it seems as though the mystique surrounding "The Beast" seems to be wearing off as fans are growing tired of seeing a part time wrestler holding the WWE's main World Championship.

One man who sympathizes with these thoughts is none other than former World Championship Wrestling (WCW) President Eric Bischoff, who recently took to his podcast Bischoff On Wrestling to sound off on Lesnar's title reign.

Bischoff admitted that the Universal Title needs a 'breathe of fresh air' and would hope to see Roman Reigns dethrone Lesnar for the belt at WrestleMania 34 next year (quotes via WrestleZone):

"If they do put Roman in there with Brock I hope they put Roman over. WWE needs a breath of fresh air. They need something that feels new. Even tho Roman has been around for awhile putting him that position would be a whole new WWE.

"Again, as much as I respect and like Brock Lesnar as a person, as little as I know him. As a performer and an athlete I respect what he’s done. He’s so one-dimensional that it’s really hard to get excited about seeing him.

"We’ve seen him and we know what we’re getting and it’s not going to be that different. With Roman the potential is there to create a much bigger, larger, more dimensional character."

What are your thoughts on Bischoff's comments towards Lesnar's title reign? Is a 'breath of fresh air' really needed int the title picture? Is Reigns that breath of fresh air? Or are their better options out there for the championship? Have YOUR say in the comments section below, and the fourth episode of GiveMeSport’s WWE podcast is here!
