It won't be easy for the Los Angeles Clippers to replace the playmaking abilities of All-Star Chris Paul but they may have found a player potentially capable of filling that void. The franchise secured the services of Serbian Milos Teodosic from Europe over the summer and he comes with a reputation as being one of the best passers in basketball. He joined the Clippers from Euroleague side CSKA Moscow and has an impressive resume which has seen him win a title and an MVP award during his career overseas.Teodosic isn't well known in the States and Los Angeles fans have surely been spending time viewing clips of the veteran guard on YouTube over the summer to get an idea of the type of player he is. They will definitely have been impressed by his skills, especially when it comes to dropping dimes and it certainly got them excited. The 30-year-old made his highly-anticipated debut for the Clippers in their pre-season opener against the Toronto Raptors last night and showed fans just how good his passing is.Teodosic put on a clinic as he racked up eight assists in a 113-121 loss to the Raptors and already developed a good connection with Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.

He produced five assists in his first seven minutes against NBA competition and facilitated the offence in style.

The Serb even showed that 'Lob City' will live on in the absence of CP3 as he connected on a perfect alley-oop with Jordan who threw it down with his usual authority.

Paul is among the elite floor generals in the league and the Clippers will miss so much more than his playmaking, but even though Teodosic may be a downgrade, he'll be able to take on the responsibility of setting up his teammates.

The former Euroleague star is not a stranger to some NBA stars as Kevin Durant credited him with the "greatest" pass he's ever seen after playing against Serbia for Team USA at the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

His new teammate Patrick Beverley played with him for Olympiacos in Greece and claimed that "he might be the best passer in the NBA right now."

If Teodosic's first game for the Clippers is anything to go by, it might not be an outrageous statement by Beverley.

His arrival in the league has been a long time coming but he could prove to be worth the wait.
