Ever since their first encounter back on March 4 earlier this year, there has been no love lost between David Haye and Tony Bellew.

The build-up to the fight was marred by ridiculously over the top abuse, mainly coming from Haye, and was criticised for going too far to build up the domestic bout.

Haye had confidently predicted an easy victory and demolition of the Liverpudlian, which as we saw, never came to pass.

Bellew stopped Haye during the fight, and afterwards, the former heavyweight champion knew any potential rematch between the two would all be on Bellew's terms.

Having announced the rematch for December of this year, unsurpisingly the old war of words between the two has resumed once more.

This time, Bellew is the one having his say as he was asked about Haye's calling out of current world heavyweight champion and fellow Brit Anthony Joshua.

Haye has stated that after defeating Bellew in their rematch, he would want to go on and face Joshua, and this idea, it appears, is too much for Bellew to handle.

Speaking to betsafe.com, Bomber said: “David Haye will say whatever he needs to get his name in the media and sell himself. To call AJ out, he’s a clown.

"AJ is in a league of his own. The fight against Klitschko, the way he dealt with him. I predicted an AJ win, but I didn’t think he would win that way. If it went past six rounds I couldn’t see him winning, but he proved me wrong.

"He came back, he had the mental attitude, cardio, stamina to over come Klitschko. He showed a punching variety that hasn’t been seen from a heavyweight in over a decade. I was so happy for him."

Any potential fight between Haye and Joshua seems extremely unlikely, and Bellew will undoubtedly be looking to prove Haye isn't in his league, never mind AJ's.
