The rumored card for the upcoming WWE TLC PPV has been released.

The TLC pay-per-view event takes place on October 22nd at the Target Center in Minnesota, Minneapolis and will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. This will be an exclusive RAW brand event.

Only one match for the upcoming event has been officially announced, which is Alexa Bliss defending the Raw Women’s Title against Mickie James. WWE officials are expected to be announcing more matches for the event in the coming weeks.

It appears that WWE is setting up a six-man tag team match that would see The Shield take on The Miz, Sheamus, and Cesaro at the TLC PPV. This is the rumored main event for the show.

Some of the top matches also expected to be announced for the event include Enzo Amore vs. Kalisto for the Cruiserweight Title and former WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor vs. former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt in a singles match. As of this writing, there are no stipulation matches known. Here is the current rumored card:

--- Six-Man Tag Team Match: The Shield vs. The Miz, Sheamus & Cesaro

--- Raw Women’s Title Match: Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Mickie James

--- Cruiserweight Title Match: Enzo Amore (c) vs. Kalisto

--- Singles Match: Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt

--- Singles Match: Asuka vs. TBD

For a bit of a history lesson for this event, WWE decided to establish the show in 2009 by replacing Armageddon in the December slot of WWE's pay-per-view calendar. Make no mistake about it, this is a gimmick show and some members of the WWE Universe sees this as a B-show. The concept of the show is based on the primary matches of the card each containing a stipulation utilizing tables, ladders and/or chairs as legal weapons.

The 2014 event was also referred to as Tables, Ladders, Chairs and Stairs, because the first ever Steel Stairs Match, between Erick Rowan and Big Show, took place at the event. This year, the sports entertainment company decided to make a big change to the event. The 2017 edition of the event has been moved from its usual December slot to an October slot.

This will allow TLC to occur before the annual Survivor Series event that is held in November. SmackDown will have the only pay-per-view event in December to close out the year. This year marks the first time that the show will be held at the Target Center in Minnesota, Minneapolis.
