Reuben Reid is keen to show Peterborough fans what he can do when he returns to action at the weekend.

Reid has arrived on loan from West Brom and is keen to make his debut against Derby on Saturday and end a period of frustration.

He has made just two starts for Albion and said: "It has been quite frustrating not playing but I knew when I moved to West Brom that they were a strong squad and that I might have to be patient. But, like all footballers, I want to play regularly so I'm looking forward to showing what I can do at Peterborough."

He added: "I play with plenty of power and pace and I'm confident I can make the step up and make an impact. Even when it looks like I'm having a quiet game, I often produce something good.

"People say that League Two is played at 100 hundred miles an hour and if that's the case the Championship is played at 1,000 miles an hour. If you can't cope physically you have no chance, but I think I will be okay."
