Paulie Malignaggi has called Conor McGregor out for a fight in the boxing ring.

Now, he has predicted which round he will knock out his former sparring partner.

Malignaggi jumped ship from McGregor’s camp in the build-up to the Irishman's fight with Floyd Mayweather in August.

Pictures and videos leaked by Dana White showed Malignaggi getting knocked down up by McGregor.

Malignaggi has told ES News that McGregor has to prove that he is the man that “handled him” in the leaked footage.

The boxer turned commentator has also predicted when he would knockout ‘Notorious’, should the fight take place.

Malignaggi claimed that he would stop McGregor in the same amount of rounds as Floyd Mayweather did.

He claimed, in an interview with ES News: “It shouldn’t be a problem to make a fight in boxing. I’ll knock his [expletive] out in front of all his fans.

”I’ll knock him out in front of everybody. It’s not even difficult to knock him out. You don’t even have to hit him hard. He’s looking for the first window to jump out of.

"He’s the biggest poser in combat sports. I watched him in his fights. I’ve seen him face to face. He puts on an act. He’s a con artist and he’s conned all the idiot fans.

"If I was really to predict it, I’d say the same amount of rounds as Floyd. You’ve got to get him there first, and he’ll jump off the cliff for you. You’ve just got to take him to the edge of the cliff and he’ll jump off. You don’t even have to push him. He’ll jump off for you.

"He doesn’t like the heat. When the heat rises, he looks to jump out. He doesn’t try to put the first out with some water. He doesn’t know how to fight back with some water. He tries to jump out of the window and get out.”

Therefore, according to the former American boxer, “it should be easy money for McGregor.”

The boxer stated that the Irishman didn’t like the heat, but also admitted that he gave him a concussion during the sparring sessions.

Malignaggi also accused McGregor of being a con artist, claiming that the two-weight UFC champion puts on an act.

He spoke of the method he would defeat McGregor, claiming that he didn’t need to hit him that hard to knock him out. He stated that McGregor was looking for the first window to jump out of.

In his 24 MMA bouts, McGregor has only gone the distance twice, most recently against Nate Diaz in August 2016.

15 of those 24 fights have been stopped in the first round, most famous of which was his 13-second stoppage of Jose Aldo in December 2015.

Just two of Malignaggi’s 44 fights have been stopped on or after the 10th round. He lost both, to Ricky Hatton in 2008, and the second to Amir Khan in 2010.
