Andy Murray trolls Nick Kyrgios on Instagram yet again

2017 US Open Tennis Championships - Previews

While going through the rigours of rehabilitation for his injured hip, it seems Andy Murray can’t help but spend much of his time away from court trying to wind up Nick Kyrgios on social media.

The Aussie recently qualified for the quarter-finals of the China Open in Beijing after seeing off Mischa Zverev in the second round in three sets.

Following his 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 win, the world no 19 took to Instagram to celebrate his victory.

Although, rather than a traditional post stating how pleased he was with his performance, Kyrgios instead decided to have a chuckle at himself, posting a photo of himself grinning with the caption: "Laughing at my shot selection."

And it was at this point that Murray decided to get involved, responding with the comment: "Yeah it is pretty funny."

A fellow Instagram user then sought to defend the Australian, promptly telling the British no 1: "Never seen you do any between the legs shots - @K1ngKyrg1os I got your back bro."

The three-time Grand Slam winner was quick to turn things up a notch as he responded by insisting that he’d been hitting trickshots since Kyrgios was a baby, saying: "Youtube Murray through the legs…

"Nick was still in nappies when I was hitting those shots."

It isn’t the first time Murray has goaded his friend on social media.

Earlier this month, the world no 3 made fun of Kyrgios’ dress sense, and back in August, the Scot decided to criticise the Aussie’s dancing abilities.

It seems that while being out of action, the former world no 1 has at least been upping his social media game, suggesting to Nick Kyrgios at least that there’s nowhere to hide from a Murray mockery.

Although all tennis fans will love seeing Murray have a bit of banter on social media, they'll be hoping he returns to the court as soon as possible.
