John Cena has finally addressed the speculation about his future with WWE.

TMZ Sports caught up with Cena again. In the brief interview, Cena, who was with Nikki Bella while in Los Angeles, California as Bella continues to compete on the latest season of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars series, said he wouldn't get involved in politics because "there's too much politics" involved.

The former WWE Champion was also asked if he would retire from WWE to which he responded, "No, never. They're [WWE] family." You can watch the interview here:

Cena is booked for several WWE live events in December. As of this writing, Cena is scheduled for a few Raw live events after Christmas as well as a SmackDown live event on December 30th.

As noted, Cena was advertised for The Survivor Series PPV in November. However, WWE has since removed Cena from advertising for the show. Here is his updated schedule:

--- Tue. Dec 26: Madison Square Garden, New York, NY (RAW)

--- Wed. Dec 27: Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Uniondale, NY (RAW)

--- Fri. Dec 29: Times Union Center, Albany, NY (RAW)

--- Sat. Dec 30: Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL (SmackDown)

Cena’s career and focus has been on making it in Hollywood by being an actor. Although Cena, who will be one of the stars for the forthcoming Transformers: Bumblebee, has been rumored for the role of DC Comics hero Shazam!, PWinsider.com has reported in the past that he will not play the role. It was reported that Cena met with the film's director David F. Sandberg last month but is not one of the final names in the running for the film.

The film has been pushed back a number of times and it is now expected to film in 2019. Cena wrapped up with WWE at No Mercy by losing to Roman Reigns in a singles match.

There have been rumors that Cena will be going back to the SmackDown Live brand and challenging Jinder Mahal for the WWE Title once back on TV. WWE could be going in a completely different direction. It will be interesting to see if Cena is gone until December or if he returns to the sports entertainment company and the squared circle before then.
