Triple H has been a member of the WWE since 1995, and he has risen through the ranks of the company to be where he is today as executive vice president of talent, live events and creative, a senior producer for NXT, and one of the best superstars in the business.

Throughout his 20-plus years in the WWE, The Game has had some incredible WrestleMania matches against some world class opponents, including John Cena, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Randy Orton, Batista, Brock Lesnar, Daniel Bryan, Sting, and most recently, Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 33 earlier this year.

Triple H has also faced The Rock at The Showcase of the Immortals way back at WrestleMania 2000 in a fatal four-way elimination match for the WWF Championship, which he won, but he has never faced The People's Champion in a singles match on the show.

A match between these two at WrestleMania was teased not too long ago actually, or at least the groundwork was put in place. The Game and The Great One took part in a backstage segment on an episode of SmackDown where they talked about WrestleMania, a conversation which got fiery and resulted in a stare down.

During a recent interview at the Mumbai Facebook office on Facebook Live, Triple H teased the possibility of him and The Rock going one-on-one inside the squared circle, saying it's something which has been discussed between himself and The Rock.

He said, according to Sportskeeda: “About two years ago, he and I [The Rock] did a backstage promo with each other where we talked about WrestleMania and the competitive nature of it and it lit up the internet about the possibility of it. It’s something we’ve discussed.

"It’s just making schedules work, he’s pretty busy I am too. But hey, right place, right time? I’ll dance one more time with The Great One, Rock”

WWE fans would certainly love to see Triple H and The Rock go at it against one another one more time inside the ring, and WrestleMania would be the perfect place for such a match of this caliber.
