The moment that WWE fans have waited several years for has finally happened, the Shield has reformed.
The team of Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns made their welcome return on Monday's episode of RAW.
Same place, same story
In the exact same building that the group debuted at Survivor Series in 2012 and where Seth Rollins destroyed the Shield with the swing of a steel chair in 2014, the three superstars stood shoulder to shoulder once again.

Reuniting to fight the new team of the Miztourage alongside the team of Sheamus and Cesaro, the three brought a big dose of nostalgia to the WWE Universe.
Often considered to be one of the greatest factions of all time, the trio of former World Champions didn't take long to make their presence known.
During the opening segment of the show, Reigns would confront the Miz while he was hosting the second ever Mizzie awards.
Reigns would confirm the return of the Shield when he simply asked, "What rumours?"
Rollins and Ambrose would join him on the stage then they would display several of their trademarks, including lining up on three different sides of the ring and delivering the triple powerbomb to the Miz.
Their return would lead to a huge announcement for the upcoming TLC event as the Shield return match will take place at the event.
RAW General Manager Kurt Angle revealed that the Shield will take on the Miz, Cesaro and Sheamus in a TLC match at the event in two weeks.
That however wasn't good enough for Miz, who would demanded that a fourth man be added to their team, someone who suddenly has a score to settle with the Shield.
Hound of Justice back at work
Formerly known as the Hounds of Justice, Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins would embrace their old persona quickly as they would still look to dish out their own brand of justice.
Their first target? Braun Strowman.
The Monster Among Men became the fourth member of the team to take on the Shield at TLC after their assault on him on RAW.
Strowman has had several altercations with each member of the Shield in recent weeks and none of them forgot about that.
They would save Matt Hardy from the clutches of Strowman and then deliver their triple powerbomb to the Monster Among Men.
Putting Strowman through the announce table sent the big message that the Shield is finally back and that things just got a lot more interesting on RAW.
