Liverpool were rocked on Tuesday afternoon by the news that Sadio Mane has sustained a hamstring injury while on international duty.The 25-year-old, who picked up the Premier League’s Player of the Month award for August following an excellent start to the 2017-18 campaign, was subbed off in the 89th minute of Senegal’s 2-0 World Cup qualifying win over the Cape Verde Islands on Saturday.Mane now faces six weeks on the sidelines and will several huge fixtures, including the visit of Manchester United this weekend and the trip to Wembley to face Tottenham on October 22.Liverpool fans on social media have been cursing the fact that Mane, who joined the Reds from Southampton in June 2016, was injured while on international duty.And now Jamie Carragher has reacted to the news on Twitter.
