Dagenham manager John Still will have defender Scott Doe available for the visit of Notts County.

The central defender was shown a straight red card during the 2-1 defeat at Shrewsbury on Saturday for an alleged elbow but the dismissal has since been quashed by a Football Association disciplinary hearing.

Still has no other fresh concerns as he looks for a return to winning ways to keep their promotion hopes on track.

Defender Will Antwi will be out for a while with his thigh injury and midfielder Stuart Thurgood remains the only other absentee as he battles to recover from his own thigh injury.

Caretaker manager Dave Kevan is likely to make some changes when Notts County return to league action.

Kevan employed a five-man midfield against Wigan on Saturday as the Magpies came close to causing a FA Cup upset at Meadow Lane.

He is expected to revert back to two strikers for the trip to Essex, with leading scorer Lee Hughes, Ade Akinbiyi, Karl Hawley and Luke Rodgers all in the frame for starts.

Defender Mike Edwards and midfielder Matt Hamshaw will also be hoping for recalls.

Kevan believes beating the Daggers is crucial to their automatic promotion chances, he said: "I really feel we can push on now and start edging closer to that top-three. You have to beat the teams around you to do that. I think that is key to it.

"We are not focusing on the play-offs, we are focusing fully on the top three because we believe that is what we can achieve."
