Over the past few weeks, rumors have suggested there are a couple of superstars in the WWE that are unhappy with their current position and that they could be looking for a way out of the company in the near future.
It has been widely reported that Neville has left the WWE, but neither the company or the superstar himself has officially confirmed this. After a no-show on RAW this week, it was rumored Nia Jax had left the WWE as well.
The Hybrid Athlete hasn't wrestled on RAW since October 2, and the rumored reasons for her wanting to leave was due to her being unhappy with the direction of creative and the pay which she was receiving.
However, reports later confirmed that Jax had been granted a leave of absence from the WWE as a sign that the company is prepared to work with her as they don't want to let her go.
She was originally scheduled to face Sasha Banks at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs this Sunday, but this match has since been changed, and will now feature Banks facing Alicia Fox, and it will take place on the Kickoff show of the pay-per-view.
Alexa Bliss, Nia's best friend, recently spoke to The New York Post about The Hybrid Athlete and her position in the WWE. Little Miss Bliss said she believes that Jax is taking a break due to the schedule and that she has "no doubt in [her] mind" that Jax will return to the company soon.
Bliss said on Jax: "We have talked about it a lot. Whatever she is going through, I wouldn't necessarily call it a leave of absence. She's taking some time off because our schedule it very grueling. It's very, very demanding. There are times where you are run down and your body can't do it anymore and you get sick or you get injured from it and you get tired.
"So, I feel like everyone needs a reset every once in a while. In NXT I took a few resets and it was never like public knowledge, but we all need them. We all take them once in a while. I am happy when she comes back. I feel like everyone needs that refresher week or refresher moment."
Life in the WWE can be a tough one for most people to handle as you're on the road for most of the year, so it's no wonder Jax feels like she needs a break. Hopefully, she is back working for the company soon as she is one of the most promising superstars in the WWE today.
