This past week on SmackDown Live, Jinder Mahal said he had faced and defeated all the challengers for his WWE Championship, so he was looking for a new superstar to face at Survivor Series in November. The Modern Day Maharaja then went on to challenge the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar to a Champion vs Champion match at the pay-per-view next month, but most people believe neither Mahal's WWE title nor The Beast's Universal title will be on the line in the clash.A match between Mahal and Lesnar at Survivor Series has been rumored now for the past couple of weeks, so it now appears WWE has put the wheels in motion for this match to take place at the pay-per-view and be the main event of the show on November 19.As of writing, the Universal Champion is yet to respond to the challenge made on SmackDown by the WWE Champion. However, his advocate, Paul Heyman, has issued a reply to The Modern Day Maharaja on his Twitter account.Heyman urged fans to tune in to Monday Night RAW this week to find out what his client has to say about Mahal's Survivor Series challenge. However, he didn't give any hints as to The Beast response to the Champion vs Champion match. He said in his tweet: "As his #Advocate, I hereby encourage you to watch the reigning defending undisputed #UniversalChampion @BrockLesnar's response LIVE on #RAW!"

Lesnar has already had many successful title defenses since defeating Goldberg for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 33 in April.

He has won against Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman, and Roman Reigns very easily, so many fans expect him to make light work of Mahal if he accepts his challenge for a match at Survivor Series.

The Modern Day Maharaja has been successful with his championship defenses as well since beating Randy Orton for the WWE title at Backlash in May.

He has defeated Orton as well as Shinsuke Nakamura, and Baron Corbin when he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract, so booking wise, he is expected to put up a fair fight.

However, many fans simply can't look past how easily Lesnar has been able to dispose of Strowman and Joe during his title defenses, which is why he is considered to be the heavy favourite to win this match if he does accept Mahal's challenge next week on RAW.
