Kurt Angle is finally making his WWE in-ring return.

Ever since it was announced that the former WWE Champion would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year, fans started speculating that he would wrestle again in the biggest sports entertainment company in the world.

Angle made his first appearance at a professional wrestling event in 1996 with his in-ring debut following in 1998. He signed a contract with the WWE that same year and participated in his first televised storyline in March 1999.

Angle was a six-time world champion (four reigns as WWF/WWE Champion, one as WCW Champion and one as WWE's World Heavyweight Champion), a one-time United States Champion, one-time Intercontinental Champion, one-time European Champion, one-time Hardcore Champion and one-time WWE Tag Team Champion. He left WWE in 2006 but returned earlier this year to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Angle even believes that as he has stated his beliefs in various interviews. Now, his beliefs are turning into a reality.

WWE announced on Friday afternoon that due to medical concerns Roman Reigns had been removed from the scheduled 3-on-5 TLC match between The Shield and the team of The Miz, Sheamus, Cesaro, Braun Strowman, and Kane at this Sunday’s TLC pay-per-view.

Reigns will be replaced by WWE Hall of Famer and Raw General Manager Kurt Angle. Also, Bray Wyatt has also been replaced by AJ Styles, who will now face Finn Balor. Angle took to his Instagram account to react replacing Reigns at Sunday’s event.

He wrote on his official Instagram account, “Is it true??? Oh It’s damn true! Your Olympic Hero will be wrestling along side of The Shield at #TLC this Sunday. Be sure to watch. #yourolympicheroisback”

The TLC pay-per-view event takes place at the Target Center in Minnesota, Minneapolis and will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. This will be an exclusive RAW brand event. Here is the updated card:
