The WWE's Tables Ladders and Chairs (TLC) pay-per-view (PPV) earlier tonight (Sun. October 22, 2017) had a ton of change ups this past weekend as we were just days out from the card - but in hindsight those changes may have been for the better. One of the key changes that took place was Bray Wyatt being replaced by SmackDown Live's AJ Styles to step in and take on "The Demon King" Finn Balor in one of the featured bouts on the card. A terrible outbreak of mumps broke out in the WWE locker room and affected the likes of Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt, forcing them out of their originally scheduled bouts at TLC. Due to Wyatt being pulled, Styles replacing him gave the WWE Universe a long awaited dream match.Styles is over on SmackDown Live and seems to have blossomed a rivalry with WWE Champion Jinder Mahal. While on an overseas tour this weekend Styles got the call that he would be needed for TLC, and didn't hesitate to hop on a plane and fill in for Wyatt. There is a bit of a connection between Balor and Styles leading back to their Japan days that WWE commentators vaguely alluded to during their match. Balor started The Bullet Club which is arguably the most famous faction in professional wrestling today. After Balor departed for WWE NXT, Styles took over the leadership role of the club. Now both men have found their way to WWE and went head-to-head with one another for the first time in their careers - and it didn't disappoint.Balor and Styles put on what was probably the match of the year, however, in the end it was "The Demon King" who emerged victorious. After the match the pair showed nothing but respect to one another, and the two reunited as Club members with a Too Sweet gesture. Check it out:

What are your thoughts on Balor and Styles reconnecting with a Too Sweet gesture to cap off what was probably the best match of the WWE this year? Do you think that it was the best match but on by WWE so far this year? And did the bout live up to the hype that the WWE Universe put on it these past two days? Have YOUR say in the comments section below, and the fourth episode of GiveMeSport’s WWE podcast is here!
