Video: Braun Strowman destroys Kurt Angle in table spot

WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle made his long awaited return to the WWE ring earlier today (Sun. October 22, 2017), and Braun Strowman welcomed him back with a monstrous spot through a wooden table.

Originally the main event of Tables Ladders and Chairs (TLC) was supposed the feature the reunion of The Shield (Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose) against the team of The Miz, The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro), Braun Strowman, and Kane. Unfortunately for WWE, this past Friday it was announced that due to a terrible medical outbreak Roman Reigns was victim to he would be removed from the match.

In a shocking move the WWE decided to replace "The Big Dog" with Kurt Angle, making it his first match in a WWE ring in over 11 years. Fans were thrilled to see "The Olympic Hero" back in the WWE ring again, and his performance certainly didn't disappoint.

Angle was able to hit multiple German Suplexes on Cesaro, Sheamus, and The Miz, in addition to hitting his signature Angle Slam on Cesaro and Sheamus. He also delivered the Triple Powerbomb to The Miz, along with The Shield, to get the pin and the win.

During the beginning of the match, however, Angle took a huge bump from Braun Strowman through a table that left WWE fans everywhere cringing.

Angle has a history of neck issues throughout his career, and after taking a huge powerslam through a table from someone as massive as Strowman - it was scary to say the least.

Strowman lifted "The Olympic Hero" over his shoulder after setting up a table on the side of the ring, ran full speed, and crashed Angle down into the table. Angle sold the spot very well and was carried out to the back before returning later on to save Rollins and Ambrose before picking up the win.
