As far as inspired decisions go, playing Mesut Ozil, Alexandre Lacazette and Alexis Sanchez in the same team proved quite the stroke of genius from Arsene Wenger v Everton. You've got to beg the question as to why it hasn't happened sooner but it's hard to imagine many Arsenal starting XIs looking much different after scoring five at Goodison Park. All three forwards found their name on the scoresheet in a brutal display that eventually saw Ronald Koeman sacked. It was arguably Arsenal's finest performance of the season and one that consigned the hurt of the Watford defeat to history.Thierry Henry was delighted after the game and said: "Hopefully they can maintain that. It was beautiful, champagne football at times."One hoodoo the victory also quelled was the idea that Lacazette can only score at the Emirates.Aside from the fact - rather bizarrely - the Frenchman always seems to be subbed before full-time, Lacazette's first four goals in a red jersey arrived in north London. Trivia, perhaps, but the statistic certainly did the rounds on Twitter. However, in the 74th minute on Merseyside, Lacazette put the trend to bed with a ruthless right-footed finish. You would then expect the 26-year-old to produce his trademark 'trumpet' celebration, which he recently explained on Arsenal's official website. He revealed: “It was based on a bet with a friend of mine who really likes music that involves trumpets.“It was a joke between the two of us. That’s how it all started, it was all a bet. I’ve just kept doing it and I really like it."Against Everton, though, he produced the vulcan salute from Star Trek and there's a special meaning behind the choice.Lacazette was sending a message of appreciation to his good friend Corentin Tolisso who donned the trumpet celebration after scoring Bayern Munich's only goal at the weekend. He then posted this Twitter tribute:Naturally then, Lacazette returned the favour with Tolisso's go-to Star Trek tribute before penning a return tweet of his own. See it below:

Good weeks for both Lacazette and Tolisso, then.

Nevertheless, Arsenal won't mind if their French forward is imitating a trumpeter or Spok as long he helps to reel in the deficit to Manchester City.

The Gunners sit nine points from the Premier League summit but only goal difference separates them from the top four they're so desperate to return to.
