One of the biggest stories in the WWE over the past couple of weeks has been about Neville and his future with the company after he apparently walked away from the company two weeks ago.

It was rumored that on October 9, Neville requested his release from the WWE after being with the company for five years. He is reportedly still under WWE contract and has not been released, but Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has recently said that he is “100% gone” from the company.

According to a report by Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, The King of the Cruiserweights has apparently been unhappy with the WWE since January, with a series of events which culminated with him asking to leave the company two weeks ago before RAW took place.

One of the reasons for his departure is because his match against Austin Aries was left off the WrestleMania 33 DVD as kickoff matches aren't on the DVD, meaning he didn’t get any royalties on what is the best-selling DVD of the year.

He was also reportedly unhappy with lack of payoffs and rough life on the road and the fact he was booked to lose again to Enzo Amore on RAW. As you would expect, Neville's actions didn't go down well with Vince McMahon.

According to the report, the WWE Chairman was not very happy with The Man That Gravity Forgot's decision to walk away from the company, saying that walking out is the ‘kiss of death’ from Vince.

Neither WWE or Neville has yet to comment on the situation which unfolded a couple of weeks ago, which could be an indication of what's to come. Although many believe he has left WWE, the fact there has been no comment on it indicates Neville may be forced to see out his current deal before wrestling with another company.

Unless both sides are able to work out a deal for his return to WWE, or a compromise to allow him to wrestle on the independent circuit, Neville could just be made to sit at home and wait for his current deal to expire.

As soon as he hits the indies though, The King of the Cruiserweights is bound to make a lot of money as he is a very talented performer. WWE fans will be hoping though that he is able to mend things with the company and return to action soon.
